Job Summary
As a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Component Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and documentation of specialized electrical systems for aerospace testing. Your daily responsibilities include building and maintaining a comprehensive database for FTI drawing files, evaluating new design and documentation tools, and supporting hardware development using industry-standard tools like EAGLE or Altium. You will also be involved in functional testing and FPGA software development focusing on IP Cores and serial interfaces. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy a mix of hardware design, software integration, and data management. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or the aerospace industry
- Experience in hardware development and PCB routing
- Practical knowledge of FPGA technologies and serial interfaces
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and drawing databases
- Proven experience with MS Excel, MS Access, and specialized CAD tools
