Job Summary
This role focuses on bridging the gap between technical cloud migration and practical day-to-day operations within tax law firms. As a DATEV Cloud Navigator, you will move away from routine ticket processing to lead high-impact project work, ensuring that cloud transitions are functional, secure, and well-documented. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing firm workflows, establishing user rights and structures, and conducting workshops to train teams on DATEV cloud solutions. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on client-facing work—including implementation and training—and 30% on internal knowledge development and DATEV-specific training. This position is unique because it offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape strategic processes within a supportive team environment, specifically targeting professionals who enjoy technical topics without being in a 'pure' IT role.
Required Skills
Education
Qualified Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), Law Firm Organization Consultant (KOB), or equivalent professional qualification in digitalization/taxation.
Experience
- 4–8 years of professional experience within a tax law firm environment
- Extensive experience with DATEV software solutions and workflows
- Proven experience in firm organization, digitalization, or as a tax specialist
- Experience in leading change management or software implementation projects
- Professional experience in conducting technical workshops and training sessions

- Willingness to travel for client appointments in Southern Germany; regular presence at offices in Fellbach or Aalen combined with Home Office.
