Job Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing the entire Construction Department for the Samtgemeinde Apensen, including the municipal building yard. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of urban planning, building administration, facility management, and cemetery services. Day-to-day, you will coordinate construction projects with external architects, develop land-use plans, and draft urban development contracts. A key part of the role is preparing and implementing decisions for local council meetings. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Public Administration (Bachelor of Arts), or equivalent qualification (Verwaltungsfachwirt/II. Angestelltenlehrgang). Alternatively, a Second State Examination in Law.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Professional experience in building administration or urban development
- Experience in planning, organizing, and managing a department or team
- Experience in coordinating construction measures and working with external engineering firms
- Experience in preparing committee meetings and drafting official resolutions
