Job Summary
As a Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will join the Quality Assurance, Analytics & Product Safety department in Stühlingen. Your daily responsibilities will center on maintaining critical data within SAP EH&S, including regulatory content, supplier data, and formulas. You will independently create safety data sheets using established templates and evaluate products and raw materials against regulatory frameworks such as REACH, CLP, and dangerous goods legislation. Additionally, you will compile formulations for regulatory bodies like the DIBt and identify data gaps in master records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in chemistry or laboratory environments who enjoys working in a values-oriented family business. The position offers high levels of responsibility, flexible working hours, and the stability of a company operating under the chemical industry's collective bargaining agreement.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Coatings Laboratory Technician, or a comparable commercial qualification.
Experience
- Several years of functional professional experience in product safety or regulatory affairs
- Practical experience as a Chemical or Coatings Laboratory Technician or in a relevant commercial role
- Proven experience in handling chemical raw materials and product evaluations
