Job Summary

As a Senior Quality Control Manager at AbbVie's Ludwigshafen site, you will lead a large team of experts and managers responsible for the quality control of both commercial and pipeline products. Your daily activities will involve overseeing routine and R&D analytics, including method validation, predictive stability testing, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes such as analytical transfers and method optimization. You will act as a central subject matter expert for GxP-related scientific questions and represent the site in international working groups. This role is unique for its breadth, covering Small Molecules and Biologics across APIs, intermediates, and drug products. You will be responsible for managing large investment budgets, driving continuous improvement through 'out-of-the-box' strategies, and leading the site during regulatory inspections and audits.
