Job Summary

This role involves the strategic development and conceptual design of a cross-border healthcare project between the District of Wunsiedel and the Karlovy Vary Region. As the primary project lead, you will be responsible for drafting an INTERREG funding application (Bavaria-Czech Republic) and analyzing the legal and structural frameworks for medical care across national borders. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and engaging implementation partners, coordinating with governmental institutions, and clarifying complex legal questions regarding cross-sector healthcare delivery. This position is particularly attractive for professionals looking to shape international public health policy and regional development. It offers a structured framework under the TVöD public service contract and provides the unique opportunity to build a healthcare network from the ground up, preparing for full project implementation starting in 2027.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Health Economics or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management, specifically in the design and creation of funding applications
  • In-depth knowledge of medical supply structures and relevant healthcare interfaces
  • Proven experience in analytical thinking and independent, result-oriented project execution
  • Experience in cross-border or international institutional cooperation is preferred
