Job Summary

As a Protection Systems Commissioning Technician, you will play a vital role in the energy transition by ensuring a secure and sustainable power supply. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent commissioning of both conventional and digital protection devices and systems. This includes parameterization, testing, and regular maintenance to ensure system reliability. You will work closely with project management and external partners during renewal and new construction projects, where you will document deviations and drive process improvements. A key part of the role is maintaining high standards of occupational safety and supply security. Required Skills

Education

Completed Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician training, or a University degree (Bachelor of Engineering) in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of protection/control technology or commissioning testing preferred
  • Experience in taking responsibility and leadership for technical tasks
  • Proven experience in cross-team collaboration with project managers
  • Experience in reading and interpreting complex electrical circuit diagrams
