Job Summary

As an IT Engineer for Network and Data Flow Analysis, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of virtualized management systems used to monitor and analyze IP network traffic. Your daily activities will include the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of these systems, with a heavy focus on Linux-based operating systems. You will play a critical role in incident and problem management, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and collaborating with 3rd-level manufacturer support to refine software solutions. This position is particularly unique as it involves working with Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) and utilizes advanced flow-data protocols to ensure network visibility. You will support customers both remotely and through occasional on-site visits, ensuring high system availability through proactive patching and upgrades. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical expert who enjoys a mix of system administration, network security, and hands-on hardware/software changes in a high-stakes environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Information, Telecommunications, or Communication Technology; alternatively, completed technical training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or Communication Electronics Technician.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the construction and commissioning of complex network management systems.
  • Extensive experience in supporting complex IT software and server solutions.
  • Proven practical experience with network traffic analysis and flow-based monitoring.
  • Experience working within Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) environments.
  • Professional experience in virtualization and management solutions such as NetFlow Analyzer.
