Job Summary

This role involves leading the Central Office for Identification Services, DNA, and Evidence Management within the Bremerhaven Criminal Police. You will be responsible for overseeing forensic identification measures, managing DNA procedures, and coordinating the storage and handling of evidence. Day-to-day duties include making legal assessments for identification orders, conducting forensic processing (sometimes outside standard business hours), and handling administrative appeals and legal proceedings. You will also provide expert consultation to the entire police force on identification and DNA matters.
