As an Inhouse IT Consultant specializing in Requirements Management, you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of North Rhine-Westphalia. Working within the 'IT for Statistics' service bundle, you will act as a vital bridge between technical departments and IT development teams. Your daily responsibilities include conducting workshops and interviews to capture client needs, evaluating the strategic and technical feasibility of requests, and developing comprehensive functional concepts. You will provide service-oriented consulting to internal clients and help optimize statistical processes for the state's official statistics office. This position is particularly attractive due to its significant societal impact, offering a high degree of flexibility with up to 80% remote work options and a stable public service contract (TV-L E12). Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or FH) in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related IT field; alternatively, qualification as an 'Operative Professional' or extensive relevant IT professional experience.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of practical experience in IT-related consulting and requirements management
  • Professional experience in conducting workshops and interviews for requirement gathering
  • Experience in bridging communication between IT and business departments
  • Experience with public sector clients or official statistics is preferred
  • Experience in agile work environments and methodologies

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional
