Job Summary

As an IT Coordinator at the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) of Lower Saxony, you will serve as the central point of contact for the 'PoliceClient' and manage the agency-wide deployment of information and communication technology (ICT). Your daily responsibilities include planning and optimizing internal ICT processes, controlling budgets, and procurement of specialized technical solutions. You will act as a vital liaison, representing the LKA's interests to external IT service providers and the Ministry of the Interior. This role is unique for its blend of administrative governance and technical oversight within a high-stakes law enforcement environment. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration, or a completed Administrative Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or administrative management
  • Experience in procurement and accounting within a government/agency context
  • Experience in coordinating information and communication technology (ICT) services
  • Demonstrated experience in self-organization and problem-oriented task management
  • Experience in representing organizational interests in inter-agency working groups
