Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Central Scientific Institution for Introductory Studies at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, City Centre campus. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the physics teaching laboratory and lecture collection. Key responsibilities include setting up new experiments, maintaining and supervising the physics teaching collection, and updating databases for laboratory and demonstration trials. A significant part of the role involves assisting with the relocation and restructuring of the teaching collection. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a background in physics who enjoys technical organization and pedagogical support. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in a natural science or technical field of study, preferably in Physics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory engineering or a technical-scientific environment
  • Experience in the construction and setup of physical experiments
  • Experience in maintaining and supervising scientific teaching collections
  • Practical experience in mechanics and electronics is highly desirable
