Job Summary

As a Specialist in Biologics Analytics at Bayer's Crop Science division, you will play a vital role in developing biological crop protection products. Your daily responsibilities involve advancing the analysis of biological samples and natural extracts using state-of-the-art instrumental techniques. You will be responsible for the independent development and validation of analytical methods, primarily utilizing HPLC-MS/MS and GC-FID, while strictly adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines. Beyond routine measurements and evaluations, you will draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to the digitization and automation of laboratory processes. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy combining hands-on laboratory work with high-level technical expertise in a certified GLP testing facility. You will support global production sites to ensure product quality and safety, making a tangible impact on sustainable agriculture within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) with several years of experience, or further qualification as a Chemical Technician (Chemotechniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or similar technical role
  • Practical and theoretical expertise in HPLC and GC with various detection techniques
  • Specialized experience in HPLC-MS, specifically with TripleQuad systems
  • Professional experience working within GxP and GLP regulated environments
  • Experience in the independent evaluation and documentation of analytical measurements
