Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician in Galenic Development at Dr. Willmar Schwabe, you will play a vital role in developing and optimizing innovative plant-based pharmaceutical dosage forms. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting pharmaceutical-technological experiments from laboratory to pilot scale, focusing on solid, liquid, and semi-solid forms such as film-coated tablets and granules. You will characterize products using standard methods like viscosity and density testing, manage troubleshooting for coating or tableting processes, and ensure all activities are documented within a strict GxP environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Pharmaceutical Technician (Pharmakant), or Pharmacy Technician (PTA); additional qualification as a Chemical Technician is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development or production of dosage forms is preferred
- Experience working within a GxP/GMP regulated environment
- Proven experience in conducting pharmaceutical-technological experiments from lab to pilot scale
- Experience in product characterization and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
