Job Summary
As a Technical Trainer for the AVG Academy in Karlsruhe, you will be responsible for the theoretical and practical instruction of staff in critical railway infrastructure areas. Your day-to-day role involves teaching subjects such as 15kV overhead line electrical engineering, occupational safety in track environments, and track construction technology. You will develop modern training materials, conduct examinations, and provide coaching to participants to ensure high safety standards. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in electrical or track engineering who enjoys knowledge transfer and pedagogical development. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Track Construction; Instructor Aptitude Certification (ADA-Schein) is desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, superstructure, or track construction technology
- Professional experience in safety roles such as Sipo, Sakra, or Technical Authorized Person 4.2
- Proven knowledge of occupational safety in track environments according to EBO and BOStrab regulations
- Experience in vocational training or adult education is highly desirable
- Experience in independent and structured project or classroom management

- Valid Class B driver's license required; Must meet medical fitness requirements for railway operations (VDV 714/G25); Willingness to travel for training purposes; Willingness to undergo further certification as a trainer.
