Job Summary

As an AI Engineer at citema, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation by developing production-ready AI functionalities for advanced chat services. Your daily responsibilities include implementing agent orchestration, refining prompt engineering, and building robust guardrails against prompt injection and hallucinations. You will work on sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, integrating hybrid data sources and establishing automated evaluation benchmarks to ensure high-quality outputs. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of AI and classic software engineering within a cloud-native environment. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work predominantly remotely, with occasional visits to the Munich office.
