Job Summary

As a Software Product Release Manager in Kiel, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between innovative technologies and classic software environments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of stable software releases, ensuring transparency and quality through clear communication and detailed documentation. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating cross-environment releases, moderating critical Go/No-Go decisions within an agile framework, and driving the modernization of release processes using CI/CD methodologies. A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to leverage Generative AI to assist in creating comprehensive release documentation. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Release Management, specifically within complex software or IT landscapes
  • Proven experience in handling CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Extensive experience in creating technical documentation and release notes
  • Demonstrated experience in moderating decision-making processes and coordinating software releases
  • Solid understanding of various software development methodologies including agile and hybrid models
