Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, you will take technical control of system architecture from initial conception through to structural integration and final verification. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve defining detailed technical specifications for procurement, leading technical discussions with bidders, and ensuring specification-compliant implementation through continuous monitoring. You will act as a central link for data exchange between departments and external partners, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and on-site commissioning. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications/Information Technology, Marine Engineering, or Industrial Engineering; alternatively, a completed vocational training with further qualification as a Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maritime environment, preferably in ship development or manufacturing
  • Experience with military maritime backgrounds is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in technical leadership of bidder discussions and supplier offer analysis
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, guidelines, and technical standards of marine construction
  • Experience in managing system lifecycles from conception to final verification
