Job Summary

As a Senior IT Datacenter Technician in Augsburg, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities involve hardware rack installations (servers, switches, storage, UPS), cabling management using copper and fiber optics, and ensuring high availability through 2nd-level hands-on support. You will play a key role in the digital transformation by building Linux-based hypervisors, managing Kubernetes/container environments, and automating tasks via scripting and tools like Ansible. The role requires a blend of physical hardware management and advanced software-defined infrastructure tasks.
