Job Summary

As an SAP Private Cloud System Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Working within the 'POD 2 Cloud & Platform' department, you will be responsible for the installation and operation of SAP Private Cloud on Google Cloud air-gapped (GC-A) environments. Your day-to-day tasks involve developing operational concepts, implementing strict security requirements for cloud applications, and advancing cloud management strategies. This role is highly collaborative, operating within agile, cross-functional DevOps teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies. Required Skills

Education

Completed specialized vocational training or a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, or Engineering).

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience with a university degree, or 5+ years with a specialized vocational qualification
  • Professional experience with SAP Cloud products and platforms
  • Practical experience working in agile environments and cross-functional DevOps teams
  • Proven expertise in cloud environments (Public or Private)
  • Experience in creating operational concepts and implementing security requirements for cloud applications
