Job Summary
As a Senior Data Engineer at Sparkassen Rating und Risikosysteme (SR), you will be a key contributor to the digital transformation of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Operating within the Data Management team, you will design and develop high-performance systems capable of processing over 500 TB of data at speeds exceeding 100,000 records per second. Your daily work involves writing clean C#/.NET code, optimizing SQL queries, and managing complex ETL processes to turn raw data into actionable insights. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable vocational qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an object-oriented programming language (C#, .NET, Python, or Java) and SQL
- Professional experience in managing large data volumes and high-performance data processing
- Experience in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Proven track record in professional software development processes and clean code practices
