Job Summary
In this vital role within the Zwickau Fire Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Information and Communication (IuK) systems for the regional emergency dispatch center. Your tasks include managing user roles and permissions, monitoring server health, and overseeing software maintenance and database recovery. You will also play a key role in network administration, ensuring the stability and optimization of network infrastructure, and managing geodata for emergency response mapping. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system integration or a comparable technical field
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and updating operating systems and application software
- Experience in the administration of client-server networks
- Experience in fire department, rescue service, or disaster protection communication technology is desirable
- References in the fields of fire protection or emergency services are preferred
