Job Summary
As a Project Manager for ETCS Digitalization, you will play a pivotal role in the 'Digital Rail Germany' initiative, driving the modernization of the national rail network. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the planning and implementation of construction projects with a technical focus on Control and Safety Technology (LST), specifically for ETCS and interlocking systems. You will manage the entire project lifecycle from tendering and procurement to final acceptance, ensuring all technical documentation and regulatory approvals are in place. This role requires close coordination with various technical disciplines and project management offices to maintain strict adherence to quality, costs, and timelines. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field with a focus on Control and Safety Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in control and safety technology (LST) and equipment technology, particularly in new construction projects.
- Practical experience in the planning or coordination of railway infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the construction management and commissioning processes of electronic interlocking systems.
- Proven track record in economic and goal-oriented project implementation with a focus on quality and cost awareness.

- Locations: Nuremberg or Munich. Must be able to manage regulatory requirements and third-party approvals for construction projects.
