Job Summary

This role involves the crucial digital documentation and quality assurance of supply networks for Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator, Hamburger Energienetze GmbH. The specialist will be responsible for digitally capturing network data within the Network Information System (NIS) and Geographic Information System (GIS), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the documentation. Key daily tasks include reviewing all incoming documents, such as network changes, survey data, and sketches, against surveying standards. The role also requires creating and updating specialized documentation for various departments, authorities, and external companies, as well as developing and updating technical guidelines for network documentation. The ideal candidate will have completed vocational training as a Geomatics Technician, Surveying Technician, Technical Drafter, or similar, possess practical experience handling geodata in network and GIS systems, and demonstrate a foundational understanding of electrical engineering. This position offers a permanent contract within a major public-owned energy company undergoing significant expansion following a recent merger.
