This role seeks an Electrical Engineer to specialize in high-voltage diagnostics and cable fault location within a major energy network operator in Hamburg. The professional will be responsible for independently conducting diagnostic measurements across all voltage levels, from low to high, on critical operating equipment including cables, transformers, and converters. Key daily tasks involve performing switchgear tests, analyzing complex technical problems related to measurement technology, grounding, acoustic, and EMC measurements, and developing strategic recommendations to ensure network resilience. You will also implement standard measurement solutions, create essential operating documentation, and actively contribute to the team's technical expertise. This position offers a chance to actively shape the future of energy infrastructure and requires participation in on-call duty for rapid fault clearance, making it an engaging opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced specialists in power systems.

Required Skills

Experience

  • Familiarity with the operation of power supply networks (low to high voltage)
