Job Summary

This position seeks a Geoinformation Systems (GIS) Expert to join the IT division of the Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) in Bonn. The core responsibility is ensuring the stable and secure operation of the GIS platform, primarily based on ArcGIS Enterprise, for all BImA employees. Day-to-day activities involve providing 2nd and 3rd level support, performing root cause analysis, managing change requests, and coordinating the successful planning and implementation of new releases and updates. The role requires a strategic, solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and familiarity with IT product management, particularly ESRI systems. Candidates must hold a university degree in IT or a related technical field and possess at least three years of relevant professional experience, including knowledge of IT compliance, data protection, and information security.
