Job Summary

This role is central to the planning, realization, and commissioning of new construction and modification projects within 110 kV high-voltage cable systems for Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator. The engineer will be responsible for supporting acceptance testing and sampling of high-voltage equipment, including cables and accessories, directly at the manufacturer's facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating equipment testing, issuing operational readiness declarations, and conducting complex fault analyses with subsequent reporting. A key focus is the development of innovative technical solutions and specialized concepts for 110 kV cable system technology. The position also involves participation in digitalization initiatives aimed at enhancing cable monitoring and control, offering a chance to actively shape the future of energy infrastructure in a secure and evolving industry.
