Job Summary

This role involves the conceptualization, development, and maintenance of Digital Twin data models for the QI-Digital project, focusing on applications like Additive Manufacturing and Hydrogen Filling Stations. The successful candidate will implement these twins using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and ensure they serve as reliable data sources for an agentic AI/RAG system, supporting quality infrastructure analysis and decisions. Key responsibilities include developing digital certificates and product passports, collaborating with partner projects for end-to-end integration, and establishing and optimizing Proof-of-Concept environments using DevOps tools. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, publish scientific papers, and present findings at conferences, shaping the future of digital infrastructure for quality and conformity processes.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom, Master) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Professional experience in data modeling and semantic technologies
  • Experience with Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and structured data formats is desirable
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with new industrial domains and use cases
  • Experience with digital product passports or digital certificates is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or agentic AI systems is desirable
  • Solid DevOps knowledge (Docker, CI/CD)
  • Very good programming skills (Python or Java)
