Job Summary

This critical role involves overseeing the financial performance and strategic licensing of the IT department for an internationally successful medical device manufacturer. The primary focus includes comprehensive IT cost controlling, encompassing budget planning, regular reporting, forecasting, and detailed analysis to identify variances and maximize cost optimization potential. A major daily task is the administration, control, and optimization of the entire IT contract and license portfolio, particularly for major systems like SAP and Microsoft, including managing cloud expenditures using FinOps methodology. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics and possesses several years of professional controlling experience, ideally with a focus on IT and license management. Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, proficiency with controlling tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Excel, and a proactive, independent working style.
