Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive Data Engineer or Data Architect to drive the digital transformation of Bauerfeind AG, a leading international manufacturer of medical aids. The successful candidate will be based in Zeulenroda, focusing on developing prototypes within the Digital Innovation Lab and identifying new digital opportunities. Key responsibilities include supporting the entire Data Science lifecycle, from data exploration to the validation of productive AI solutions, and implementing strategies to dismantle data silos for improved business processes. You will be responsible for implementing central data management across various business units and actively shaping digitalization within an agile team. This position requires a background in STEM (MINT) or equivalent IT training combined with professional experience, proficiency in modern data landscapes, and competence in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
