Job Summary

This is a key opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join Hydrotechnik GmbH, a stable company investing heavily in technology and product performance. The role focuses on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of firmware for high-precision sensor and measurement systems used globally in demanding industrial applications. Day-to-day tasks involve system-level programming in C and Rust (Bare Metal/Embedded Linux), developing real-time capable firmware with a focus on determinism and resource management, and implementing industrial communication protocols (CAN, I²C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth). The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in microcontroller architectures, register-level programming (STM32), and robust code qualification, including automated testing (Unit, HiL, Regression). This position offers direct influence on product generations and requires a hands-on engineer who values code quality and system robustness for long-term field deployment.
