Job Summary

This role as a Technical Assistant, Fault Location and Measurement Technology, places you at the heart of ensuring energy supply security for Hamburg. Day-to-day, you will provide critical measurement support across all voltage levels, preparing fault clearance strategies using GIS systems and analyzing network data for optimal deployment. A core responsibility involves setting up and analyzing test circuits to accurately locate faults, meticulously documenting all results in designated systems. You will also perform maintenance and repair on fault location equipment, ensuring its constant availability, and conduct DGUV inspections on electrical operating equipment to maintain safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a completed technical vocational qualification, preferably in electrical engineering, coupled with professional experience in measurement technology or network operation. Success requires strong analytical skills, reliability, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
