Job Summary

The Hamburger Energienetze GmbH, Hamburg’s largest energy distribution network operator, is seeking an Electronics Technician specializing in Information and System Technology. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding the company's robust communication infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include switching transmission paths within copper and fiber optic networks, conducting commissioning measurements, and assembling components and devices for secondary networks based on detailed work orders. You will also be responsible for parameterizing and commissioning small devices, coordinating schedules, and preparing work documentation. A key part of the role involves troubleshooting faulty operating equipment and transmission paths, instructing external personnel on safety regulations, and participating in an on-call duty rotation. The ideal candidate holds a relevant technical qualification, possesses practical experience in fiber optic and telecommunication cable assembly, and has strong foundational knowledge in telecommunications technology.
