Job Summary

This role involves overseeing construction and assembly measures within the high-voltage cable network, ensuring seamless project execution from planning through implementation. The Technician will be responsible for planning and projecting small-scale high-voltage cable system projects and actively contributing technical expertise to substation and line projects. A critical aspect of the job is acting as the on-site decision-maker during outages, ensuring rapid network restoration, and taking responsibility for plant safety and regulatory compliance through a regulated award procedure. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, possesses experience in cable systems, and is proficient in MS Office. This position requires participation in an on-call service and the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure, making it a vital role in maintaining Hamburg’s energy supply.
