Job Summary

This senior leadership role involves managing and developing the Medical Technology Department, comprising approximately 30 employees, at the Hannover Medical School (MHH). The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous organizational and personnel development of the department, ensuring expertise remains current. Key duties include the independent execution of medical technology projects, particularly those related to maintenance and upkeep, and providing technical support and interface management during major construction projects. A critical component of the role is ensuring full compliance with operator duties, quality assurance standards, and all relevant medical technology regulations and laws. Furthermore, the Head of Department is responsible for the economic management of the unit, including budget creation, cost tracking, optimization, and the technical and financial design of contracts. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and possess multi-year leadership experience in a comparable setting.
