Job Summary

This leadership role involves heading the Electrical Engineering subdivision within a major water and wastewater management organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of the team, overseeing process optimization, budget adherence, and contributing to personnel recruitment and development. Key daily tasks include ensuring the complete and timely planning, tendering, awarding, and construction supervision of electrical engineering projects, particularly complex construction projects in water supply and wastewater disposal. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive project management experience covering all phases of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), and proven leadership skills or the willingness to develop them. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineering Science)

Experience

  • Multiple years of relevant professional experience in project management and control of complex construction projects
  • Professional experience in planning and realization of water supply and wastewater disposal projects
  • Experience covering all service phases of the HOAI (preliminary planning, approval, execution planning, tender documentation, construction and project management, commissioning)
  • Leadership experience and competence, or readiness to acquire them within a development period
