Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the Electrical Engineering department within a major water and wastewater utility organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of the team, ensuring process optimization, budget adherence, and contributing to personnel recruitment and development. Key daily tasks include overseeing the complete, timely, and flawless planning, tendering, awarding, and construction supervision of electrical engineering projects. The role requires continuous development of the department's processes, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and driving necessary optimization measures. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive project management experience in complex construction projects within the water/wastewater sector, and either existing leadership skills or the readiness to develop them. This is a crucial position contributing to regional quality of life and involves national and international travel.

University degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineering Science)

Experience

  • Professional experience in project leadership and control of complex construction projects
  • Professional experience in planning and realization of water supply and wastewater disposal projects
  • Experience across all service phases of HOAI (Preliminary planning, approval, execution planning, tender documentation, construction, and project management up to commissioning)
  • Leadership experience and competencies, or readiness to acquire them within a development period
