Senior IT Service Technician | Senior IT-Servicetechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This position calls for a Senior IT Service Technician to join the primary digitization partner of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), contributing to national security by ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services. Based in locations such as Hammelburg, Veitshöchheim, or Hardheim, you will be responsible for decentralized service delivery across numerous military sites. Daily tasks include the acceptance and resolution of IT and telecommunications (TK) faults, strictly adhering to agreed service levels, and performing on-site tasks like IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities. Key responsibilities also involve installing and commissioning new hardware, providing user instruction, executing hardware/software maintenance updates, and coordinating mandatory DGUV V3 electrical safety inspections. Candidates must have completed relevant vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), possess a minimum of three years of experience in the IT/TK environment, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, ideally complemented by ITIL knowledge. This is a secure, full-time, permanent role supporting critical infrastructure.
