Job Summary

This role involves designing and developing novel test systems specifically for power semiconductors, focusing heavily on reliability and failure analysis. The engineer will be responsible for identifying semiconductor failure modes, creating concepts for efficient simulation of these modes, and monitoring degradation parameters. A key part of the job includes networking with global research groups to advance the implementation of new test methodologies and contributing to standardization efforts, particularly according to ECPE/AQG-324. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable field of study

Experience

  • Experience in parameter measurement and reliability testing of power semiconductors, including materials
  • Knowledge of reliability testing standards (AQG324/JC70/AEC-Q101 or comparable)
  • Practical experience in conducting reliability tests on power semiconductors, particularly power-cycling
  • Knowledge in the design, characterization, or testing of power semiconductor modules
  • Understanding of electric vehicle powertrains, especially inverters
