Job Summary

This role involves working as a Passive Radar Systems Engineer for a global market leader in sensor technology, focusing on aerospace applications in Ulm, Germany. The core responsibilities include the development, implementation, and optimization of signal processing algorithms specifically for passive radar systems. Day-to-day tasks involve processing and evaluating bistatic/multistatic radar signals for target detection, tracking, and classification (e.g., using CFAR, tracking, data fusion). You will be responsible for designing system concepts, creating comprehensive system documentation, and managing requirements. A key technical aspect is the synchronization and processing of existing transmitter infrastructure like FM, DVB-T, LTE, and 5G/6G. The position requires strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ to perform radar scenario simulations and analysis, as well as planning and executing verification and acceptance tests. This is an attractive opportunity for engineers with deep knowledge in radar and signal processing seeking to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects within a multidisciplinary team.
