Job Summary

The Mittelmärkische Wasser- und Abwasser GmbH (MWA), a municipal utility providing water and sewage services to approximately 90,000 residents, is seeking a dedicated First Level IT Support Specialist. This role is the initial point of contact for all technical user inquiries, requiring a strong on-site presence to provide personal support. Key responsibilities include receiving, analyzing, documenting, and resolving IT incidents related to hardware, standard software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will manage user accounts and access rights using tools like Active Directory, Entra ID, and O365, and assist in rollouts, updates, and minor IT projects. Essential qualifications include a completed IT education, such as an IT Specialist in System Integration, coupled with foundational knowledge of Windows OS, network technology (LAN, WLAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and experience with ticket and remote support systems.
