Team Manager QC Incoming Goods Inspection | Biologe (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an experienced professional to lead the Quality Control (QC) Incoming Goods Inspection team at a leading Biologics Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in Heidelberg, Germany. The manager will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, ensuring the timely inspection and release of incoming materials in strict compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (AMWHV, EP/USP pharmacopoeias). Key responsibilities include coordinating material specifications, managing external testing laboratories, ensuring continuous GMP compliance within the area, and investigating deviations (OOS results). This position requires a Master's degree in Life Science or Chemistry, coupled with at least two years of leadership experience in a laboratory setting, strong knowledge of material testing standards, and fluency in both German and English. The successful candidate will contribute to bringing life-saving and life-improving medicines to market using innovative bioprocess technologies.
