Job Summary

This role as a Network Security IT Administrator involves safeguarding the critical infrastructure of the German Federal Pension Insurance, a cornerstone of social security in Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing innovative, modern IT security solutions, conducting thorough security analyses, isolating potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring continuous quality assurance. You will be responsible for monitoring, developing, and documenting these solutions to maintain a consistently high level of security. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is key to analyzing security requirements and developing tailored network security solutions. Key qualifications include a completed university degree (Bachelor/Diploma) or equivalent professional qualification in IT, coupled with several years of relevant experience securing IP networks. Expertise in network security systems, firewalls, and comprehensive knowledge of internet protocols (SSL, HTTP, SMTP, SSH, FTP) are essential.
