Job Summary
This role involves driving the digital transformation of the Duisburg city administration, specifically focusing on Customer Communication Management (CCM). The specialist will analyze functional requirements from internal and inter-communal clients, translating these needs into robust technical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing data, interfaces, documents, and processes; developing and optimizing workflows; and programming scripts, automation tools, or small applications. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or a related IT qualification, coupled with significant professional experience in the field. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and conceptual skills, experience in Output/Input Management, and a proactive, customer-oriented approach, contributing to the development of the 'commune of tomorrow' using agile principles.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree (FH/HS) in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, OR vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development), IT Management Assistant, or Administrative IT Specialist.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience following a Bachelor’s degree (FH/HS) in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience following a vocational training qualification (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, Administrative IT Specialist)
- Practical experience in Output/Input Management and/or Workflow Development (desirable)
