Job Summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Construction Materials Tester to join the Betotech Baustofflabor team, focusing on the quality and safety of construction projects in the Erfurt and Thuringia region. The role involves hands-on testing and evaluation of construction materials, specifically cement, aggregates, and concrete. Day-to-day tasks include performing sieve analyses of aggregates, determining the properties of fresh mortar and concrete, assessing physical properties and durability of materials, and supporting the development of new concrete recipes based on customer requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent evaluation and documentation of test results, maintenance of laboratory equipment, and on-site monitoring of concrete. This position requires a completed qualification as a materials tester, at least one year of relevant professional experience, strong technical understanding, and proficiency in MS Office applications, all while reporting directly to the Head of the Testing Center for the Thuringia-Saxony region.
