Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Medium Voltage Protection Technician/Engineer who will serve as the crucial technical interface between project management and customers, primarily focusing on renewable energy infrastructure like PV systems, transformer stations, and battery storage. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing comprehensive protection and function tests on medium-voltage systems, controlling and commissioning protection relays, and meticulously documenting all results. You will be responsible for determining appropriate protection settings, selecting suitable protective transducers, and analyzing measurement data to ensure system reliability and initiate necessary optimizations. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electrician or similar, ideally supplemented by further training as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical Engineering. This position requires significant travel across Germany, Austria, and occasionally Italy, making a Class B driver's license and a highly independent working style essential.
