Job Summary
The Hessian Administration for Land Management and Geoinformation (HVBG) is seeking a Server Infrastructure Specialist to join their IT department in Wiesbaden. This role involves the planning, creation, implementation, and continuous development of physical and virtual server systems, including terminal server environments and monitoring solutions. The specialist will also contribute to budget planning for server systems and licenses, and implement technical measures to enhance IT security. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent relevant skills and experience acquired through previous professional activity.
Experience
- Practical experience and knowledge of common IT infrastructures, especially Microsoft Windows Server
- Proven experience in Citrix terminal server, file server, and database server environments (desired)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake further training and professional development. Willingness to travel for business trips to land management offices in Hesse.
