Job Summary
This role is for an experienced IT Support Engineer dedicated to providing Level 2 IT site support for employees primarily in Germany, but also across the wider EMEAI region. The engineer will be the local IT point of contact, responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of PC hardware, Microsoft operating systems, and various software. Day-to-day tasks include hands-on troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, printers, and telephony, along with recording incidents in ticketing systems. The position requires collaboration with global infrastructure teams and participation in application deployment, testing, and various IT projects. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a Level 2 IT Site Support/Site Lead role
- Functional experience in medical DX/LS manufacturing, R&D, or commercial environments (preferred)
- Experience working with local or cloud-based backup systems (preferred)
Languages
Additional
- Based in Krefeld, Germany. Must be accustomed to working autonomously and collaborating within a global IT organization.
