Job Summary

This critical role invites a highly responsible professional to shape the future of information security within the Power Grid Network Technology department in Vienna. The Information Security Officer will be primarily accountable for the operational implementation and continuous development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO 27002 standards. Key daily responsibilities include serving as the central point of contact for colleagues regarding all security queries, planning and executing internal controls and risk assessments, and deriving technical corrective and improvement measures. The role requires close coordination with the CISO to advise on and implement organizational and technical security measures. Furthermore, the officer will ensure the secure setup and technical advancement of Operational Technology (OT) systems and communication technologies within the power sector. Candidates must possess a strong technical background and profound knowledge of relevant security standards and regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and the NIS Law.
