Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and continuous development of Geoinformation Systems (GIS) to support Vienna's climate adaptation efforts. The specialist will focus on creating and maintaining maps and cartography using WebOffice and ESRI products like ArcGIS, while also designing and enhancing user-friendly WebGIS functionalities. Key responsibilities include supporting internal clients in using GIS tools, conducting data analysis, generating statistics and reports, and taking project ownership to integrate GIS into existing processes. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in Geoinformatics, solid programming experience, and a strong IT foundation in databases and SAP, coupled with a proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to integrating innovative technologies.
